“What amazes me in objects is how their inner juice of life spouts from within. In return, the objects start moving with the artist’s, their new existence begins. And further having made it into the artwork they become altogether independent. I look at objects in astonishment. I notice gleams of something mysterious, something that is obvious to them but for me is unreachable.” A structural cogency of Liubov Abramova’s watercolors is backed by decorative expressiveness and aura of joy. Her system of chromatic rows and intervals constitute harmony; an object and its environment are in intimate correlation, a line flows into a color, the color back into the line – every details is harmoniously fitted into the overall context. Often entirely static the composition appears to be filled with such inner dynamic.
