Preserving the abstract character of his works, Anatoly Zhuravlev’s paintings are created based on the relationship between symbols, signs and the universe in between. Anatoly Zhuravlev was born in Orsha, Belarus in 1963. He graduated from Vitebsk State Engineering Institute. He became a member of the Belarusian Artists Union in 1997. Awarded a grand-prize (“Art and Tapestry” nomination) at the Exhibition of Visual Arts “Art-Mark” (1991, 1998). Awarded a grand-prize at the Republican Exhibition “Time. Space. Person” (1998). Awarded the First Prize of the Organization of the United Nations in nomination “For Contributing to Peace Development” (1998).
