Understanding the state of nature allowes Kastus Kachan to create a harmonious panorama in the series of endless landscapes, which manifests a spiritual link between man and nature. There is no aggression in the warmness of colors, freshness and spontaneity of his paintings – just the sky, the earth and the water. And the latter are not imagined and generalized abstractly by the artist. That feeling of oneness, ancient as the nature itself, overflows and spills out in Kastus’ paintings. The artist’s perception of the world brings the audience to a secure place – the place everyone has, the place with a sense of calm, eternity and stability. Kastus Kachan managed to somehow carry that atmosphere on his canvases.
