Solo exposition “Metabolism of Art Space” by Sergey Kiriuschenko was opened on the 7th of June, 2012 at the Palace of Arts in Minsk, Belarus to the raving reviews by the critics and audience. The expositions is divided into two parts, named “Metabolism of Art Space” and “High Time to Get Down to Down to Earth Art”.
The works by Sergey Kiriuschenko have been drawing the attention of both the critics and the public for over forty years. And the artist has continued to transform the vector of his art all this time. The main exhibition “Metabolism of Art Space” (2009-2012) is a new expositional project. The artist started working on it in 2009. The second exhibition “High Time to Get Down to Down to Earth Art” (2006-2009) contains earlier never exhibited works such as art poliptihs, photos of painted country homes, and also a newly constructed object made from timber blocking.
The “Y” contemporary art gallery is also exhibiting Sergey’s artworks in the “Timeline” retrospective. The exhibition covers the period from 1970s up to the year of 2012.
